Pro Media Mag : First of all tell us about the start of your professional career?
Sour Angel : My music career officially started with my song “crAZy”. “crAZy” is a song that I made putting all of my emotions into words & threw it on a beat. None of it would’ve been possible without the help of Swarley Sheen. I’ve been writing for quite some time now, but never had the opportunity to finally release my sound. When I met Swarley Sheen, I felt like I had to show them what I have because they’ve been professionally doing it for as long as I’ve been writing & I wanted some advice. Luckily they liked my music & helped me record, mix, master, and release my first track “crAZY”. Now Swarley Sheen and I are all in a group called The Ghost Town Collective.
Pro Media Mag : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Sour Angel : Wiz Khalifa was the first artist that inspired me to start writing when I was 12 years old. Since that moment I wanted to start recording and releasing music.
Pro Media Mag : Tell us about your recent release “Luv Me” from your EP entitled “WEED SMOKE to BEAST MODE”?
Sour Angel : “Luv Me” is a single from my upcoming EP “WEED SMOKE to BEAST MODE” that releases 4/20/2018. My focus is on getting to the top & living how I want to be.
Pro Media Mag : What kind of response you have received from the release?
Sour Angel : The response on the track has been great for the position I’m in. WDSR radio got me in the mix on their radio station and I doubled my followers on my SoundCloud where the song has over 11,000 plays!
Pro Media Mag : What attracts you more, performing on stage or working in studios?
Sour Angel : I would have to say working in studios for now because I’m still new to performing and have only done so 3 times. I’ve yet to find my comfort zone on stage but love working in studios because of the new music we get to make. Every time I put those headphones on I feel like I’m in a whole different world where I don’t have to worry about anything but what’s going on at the moment. The feeling is amazing.
Pro Media Mag : What’s your favorite music genre?
Sour Angel : Hip hop is definitely the go to when I want to listen to music. There’s such a variet
