Raelyn Kaplan, known by her stage name Rae du Soleil, is a talented indie artist hailing from San Francisco, CA. She is known for singing in both French and English and has performed at local restaurants, markets and events since high school. She has been making some inspiring music recently. “I Love You Close” is the most recent one.
Before moving forward to the track let’s know a little bit more about her. Rae du Soleil is currently a sophomore in college where she is designing her own BA degree, working on an interactive book of poetry and performing regularly in the Pacific Northwest. Rae du Soleil has played at several music festivals along the West Coast and was a finalist in Western’s Got Talent.
Now coming back to track it’s a very romantic track. That’s a great song and performance is of top notch quality. The melody is strong and tuneful. Rae du Soleil has an attractive vocal tone, and puts real feeling into the lyrics. The lyrics are interesting and meaningful with some punchy phrases. Instrumentally, the song has a rich, full accompaniment that complements the vocal track perfectly.
You can feel it much better, if you will go deep with the music. Great guitar solo too, although I think a grittier tone would suit the dark mood of the song better. The performance quality is high throughout, both vocally and instrumentally. Overall, the song is distinctive and original, and I think it has strong commercial potential.
