We are sharing our interview with an author Diana Rangaves. She recently released a children’s book The Adventures of Rosy Posy Papillion: Friendship.
Pro Media Mag : First of all tell us about the start of your professional career?
Diana Rangaves : I took a test in high school that pointed me in the direction of health sciences. Then my mother suggested I talk to my neighborhood pharmacist about a pharmacy career. From then on I did not look back! I went to school with the goal of becoming a pharmacist. As a pharmacist, you can work in a lot of different environments and capacities. The skills transfer!
Pro Media Mag : How and when you first get into writing?
Diana Rangaves : As a child in grammar school, we had to do book reports. I learned to enjoy reading and writing. This helped me in college, pharmacy school, then teaching ethics at the local college, and as an author.
Pro Media Mag : Tell us about your recent book The Adventures of Rosy Posy Papillion: Friendship?
Diana Rangaves : What started out as fostering Papillions became a vision for the stronger need to teach values. That evolved into this Values Series Books of which 100% of author’s royalties benefit Pap Haven Rescue.
Pro Media Mag : What was the inspiration behind writing this book?
Diana Rangaves :The real Rosy Posy! I am a foster mom for Pap Haven Rescue and Rosy Posy came up for adoption. About one month after she arrived, she escaped into my field. I found her safe visiting with the pony, ram, and goats! Rosy Posy is strong, curious, and has courage.
Pro Media Mag : It seems you love writing children’s books?
Diana Rangaves : We need a tool to teach each half generation of children values in a compelling, fun, and bright way. So, the inspiration of the twelve values series was born.
