First of all tell us about the start of your professional career?
I’ve been published for six months now. I wanted to come out with four different works and continue my career from there. Since then, I have seven novels out and counting. I’ve always been good at telling stories. One day I had this excellent idea come-to-mind, The Secret Life of a Housewife, and went from there. I love what I do and would never give it up.

Who or what inspired you to get into writing?
This is a hard question to answer for me because I can’t think of one instance, or person, who inspired this journey. I always could tell stories, and eventually, I transferred them onto paper. I majored in English and loved reading all the great writer’s works; Steinbeck, Donne, Hemingway, etc. Pop culture and the idea of writing novels that speak to the time we are living in also was a huge inspiration. Many different aspects have played a role in why I got into writing.

Tell us about your recent release, “The Secret Life of a Career Wife”?
I was inspired to write this novel by Lisa’s character. Initially, Joyce’s story was going to be a sole project. Yet, I decided to write a little intro for The Secret Life of a Housewife in Lisa’s point of view, and that intro turned into the missing piece of Joyce’s story. Plus, Lisa’s life and secrets are worth being exposed.
Both works together make up the love story that is their very non traditional romance. A lot of destruction is left in their, but that makes for a good narrative, in my opinion.

What kind of response have you received?
Overall, the response has been great. People are sweet, and when I get a rave review it makes all the hard work worth it. However, my work is not for everyone especially The Secret Life Series, which is anything but moral. I find that if a person has a high moral compass then these novels are probably not right for them.

Who are your target readers? You write keeping in mind any type of people?
Anyone who likes dark romantic suspense, romance, syfy, murder myster are my target readers. When I write, I don’t keep anyone in mind. I try extremely hard not to censor myself. If I kept in mind a specific readership, then I would censor myself and that I don’t do.

What is the best part of being a writer?
All of it. The good, the bad, the crazy. I love it all.

Doing anything else apart from writing?
I love to hike, hang out with friends, and enjoy a night in with the husband and kitties. I love spending time with family, mother-daughter dates with my mom. I’m a very spiritual person, so I enjoy meditating and being in nature.

Are you working on any new projects?
Yes, I am working on a lot of secret expeditions. However, what I can say is Audra Vol. 3 will be coming out on December 25, 2019!
