We are sharing our recent interview with music artist Margarita Shamrakov.
Pro Media Mag : First of all tell us about the start of your professional career and difficulties you came across?
Margarita Shamrakov : My music career started in Ukraine I started writing music and performing. My life is Ukraine was extremely difficult because of poverty and the dysfunctional family I come from. And maybe music was the only escape I have known.
Pro Media Mag : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Margarita Shamrakov : It was a form of expression and the way of finding who I was. The way of finding my voice.
Pro Media Mag : Tell us about your recent release “Good Girls “?
Margarita Shamrakov : It’s a song about being a girl and sort of lifting a curtain on reality and the cruel world at times that we live on. Also revealing a struggle and suffering.
Pro Media Mag : What kind of response you have received from the release?
Margarita Shamrakov : Excellent response. Song is getting very popular.
Pro Media Mag : What’s your favorite music genre?
Margarita Shamrakov : None. I like all kinds of music. If I had to pick it would be JS Bach- a classical composer.
Pro Media Mag : What’s the best part of being a music artist?
Margarita Shamrakov : Self expression. And freedom to create.
Pro Media Mag : What’s the biggest achievement in your career so far?
Margarita Shamrakov : Winning the John Lennon Award
Pro Media Mag : Are you working on any new project?
Margarita Shamrakov : Yes will start writing new music. And have some new ideas that are in the works.
