We are sharing our recent interview with Lauren Eisman, a comedic actor and writer in Los Angeles. She moved here from Philadelphia in 2006 to pursue this career.
Pro Media Mag : Who or what inspired you to get into entertainment industry?
Lauren Eisman : A woman named Tracy Ullman was the reason I wanted to become an actor. Specifically, a comedian of sorts. Her sketch show first aired in the 1980s and is actually where the Simpson was created and first premiered! She still has a show, I believe on HBO or Showtime, and her ability to transform into any character for the sake of making an audience laugh and feel good, was incredibly inspiration to me.
Pro Media Mag : Tell us about your recent videos?
Lauren Eisman : Since our nation has become so divided over identity politics and just politics in general, I wanted to create something that bridge the gap. My sketch show doesn’t pull any punches and similar to Dave Chappelle’s new stand up, refuses to allow the feelings of a few our run the needs of the many. Those needs being laughter. We all must laugh at ourselves while we laugh at each other. Its the only way to truly bring everyone together.
Pro Media Mag : What kind of response you have received so far?
Lauren Eisman : I have had a great response from all walks of life. People, for the most part, agree that THIS is what our society needs right now. The sketch comedy available to the majority is Saturday Night Live. Of which is highly biased and seeks to put out an agenda of sorts. So the comedy is usually one sided and not very creative. (It didn’t used to be that way)
Pro Media Mag : Your favorite video so far?
Lauren Eisman : Build A Boyfriend. Pokes fun at the flack men have been getting since the #metoo movement. Also makes fun of some variables of new wave feminism, which I cannot stand.
Pro Media Mag : You seems to have a good sense of humor, from where you are conceiving such funny ideas?
Lauren Eisman : Experience and 30 years of American television.

Lauren Eisman : We are finishing up the third full episode of my show.
Pro Media Mag : You are very active on social media, what’s the best way to follow you online?
