We are sharing our recent interview with writer and speaker D. Sidney Potter.
Pro Media Mag : First of all please introduce yourself to our readers?
D. Sidney Potter : I’m D. Sidney Potter and I write about real estate.
Pro Media Mag : Who or what inspired you to get into writing?
D. Sidney Potter : No one in particular. I just enjoy storytelling.
Pro Media Mag : Tell us about your recently published book “The Broker”?
D. Sidney Potter : I’m biased on this book. But here’s a testimonial.
“Energetic, ribald narration adds vigor to chapters on the psychology of cold-calling and the importance of escrow, and his insistence on dishing the unvarnished truth makes this less a how-to book than a memoir of life on the front lines of American capitalist masculinity.”

Pro Media Mag : What makes this book different from other books written on a similar topic?
D. Sidney Potter : It’s more surreal than your everyday run-of-the-mill commercial real estate book, which there aren’t that many of in the first place given what a niche industry it is.
Pro Media Mag : You have written this book whilst keeping in mind some targeted readers, or can it be useful for others as well?
D. Sidney Potter : If you like real estate or politics, this book is a good read. So yes, it’s useful to at least two subgroups of readers.
Pro Media Mag : What kind of response you have received so far?
D. Sidney Potter : Some actually do not like the language used to describe some socio-demographic issues in this country, and/or the typical language real estate brokers use with each other when fighting who gets what on a closed escrow.
Pro Media Mag : What’s the best part of being an author?
D. Sidney Potter : Storytelling.
Pro Media Mag : Anything else you would like to share with our readers?
D. Sidney Potter : Nope.
