Interview with VINCENT CHIAPPONE

Interview with VINCENT CHIAPPONE

We are sharing our recent interview with Vincent Chiappone, Author of interesting Cookbook “COOKING WITH THE GODFATHER”

Tell us a little bit about yourself. Your background, education, writing passion etc.?

Brooklyn-born, raised on discipline and determination. I’ve spent over two decades building businesses, leading teams, and solving problems where others saw chaos. My education? Life. The boardroom. The street. The kitchen. Writing became my way of putting all that experience into something that could outlive me. I don’t write to impress; I write to impact.

We’ve been hearing a lot about your business survival guide and you’re starting to gain a lot of attention—how does it feel?

Feels earned. Nothing was handed to me. I’ve built and lost, rebuilt, and kept swinging. So, if people are finally paying attention, it means the truth is cutting through the noise. I’m not pitching dreams—I’m handing out roadmaps. And the attention? That just tells me people are tired of the fluff and ready for the real.

Great. Can you please tell us more about your book Cooking with the Godfather?

Cooking with the Godfather is a tribute to old-school values—food, family, loyalty, and love. It’s a cookbook layered with life lessons. Every recipe has a story behind it, and every story has a purpose. It’s part memoir, part kitchen guide, and all heart. You’re not just learning to cook—you’re stepping into a mindset of pride, tradition, and respect.

Why did you choose this name for your book?

Because The Godfather isn’t just a film—it’s a philosophy. Loyalty. Respect. Honor. Those values belong in the kitchen as much as in life or business. The name sets the tone. You’re not picking up a Pinterest cookbook—you’re stepping into a world where every dish tells a story and every story has meaning.

As a writer, what has been one of the most exciting achievements of your career so far?

Completing it and having 2 books done and now writing the 3rd. Receiving my hardcover and signing my 1st one was incredible!

Nice. Any upcoming books?

Yes. Two, actually. The Godfather’s Guide to Business Success—a straight-talk survival manual for business leaders who want to build something that lasts. And The Godfather’s Journey to Redemption—my personal story. It’s raw, it’s real, and its proof that rock bottom isn’t the end if you’ve got the guts to climb out. No edits, no filters—just the truth.

Awesome. Everybody needs time out. What do you do in your free time?

I keep it simple. Time with family is sacred. I love catching Yankees games and rooting for St. John’s basketball. My close circle of friends keeps me grounded, and Tampa’s weather and beaches are the perfect reset button. I don’t need much—just good people, good food, and the occasional cigar to reflect on how far I’ve come.

Where do you see yourself after 10 years?

Still building. Still creating. I’ll be leading a legacy brand, mentoring future leaders, and writing books that matter. Hopefully I’ve got a film deal in the works and grandkids around the table. But whatever the setting, one thing’s for sure—I’ll be doing it with integrity, purpose, and the same fire I’ve had since Brooklyn.

Your favourite author?

John Maxwell—he’s the gold standard in leadership. His books taught me how to lead from the front and pour into others. But honestly? My favorite up-and-coming author is my daughter Mary. She’s got a fire in her and a voice the world hasn’t heard yet—but it will. Watching her find her own path? That’s the real masterpiece.

How can people find you and follow you online?

LinkedIn is the best place—Vincent Chiappone. You’ll get straight talk, business insight, and a whole lot of value. You can find my books on Amazon, and I’ve got more coming soon. I’m not hard to find, and I don’t hide behind assistants. Reach out, and you’ll hear back from me directly.
